Sri Durga Sweet began as a humble home kitchen dream during 2020, founded by Meera, whose passion for traditional Indian sweets was inspired by her grandmother’s recipes. What started with small neighborhood orders quickly grew into a beloved local brand known for purity, taste, and warmth. Within a year, Meera opened her first store, focusing on handcrafted sweets made from natural ingredients and served with love.
Our Popular Recipes
Gulab Jamun – A Sweet Delight
Gulab Jamun is one of the most cherished and iconic desserts in Indian cuisine. These soft, golden-brown dumplings are made from khoya (reduced milk solids) or milk powder, gently fried and then soaked in a fragrant sugar syrup infused with rose water, cardamom, and sometimes saffron. The result is a rich, melt-in-the-mouth sweet that’s both indulgent and comforting.
Rasgulla – A Spongy Syrupy Treat
Rasgulla is a beloved traditional sweet from Eastern India, known for its soft, spongy texture and refreshing sweetness. Made from fresh chenna (Indian cottage cheese) kneaded into smooth balls and cooked in a light sugar syrup, Rasgullas are airy, juicy, and delicately flavored. Their mild taste and satisfying texture make them a favorite choice for those who enjoy light, syrup-soaked desserts.
Shrikhand – A Creamy Indian Dessert
Shrikhand is a rich and creamy Indian dessert made from strained yogurt, known for its smooth texture and delightful flavor. Blended with sugar, saffron, and cardamom, and often garnished with slivers of almonds or pistachios, Shrikhand offers a perfect balance of sweetness and aroma. Its luxurious taste and cooling nature make it a popular choice, especially during festivals and summer meals.
